The Wedding Chapel
For many couples, the Wedding Chapel at 715 Broadway is just what they are looking for. Located in a Victorian-style house built in 1910, the exquisite decorated chapel, which seats up to forty guests, is ready for weddings and receptions. The parlor, where guests can relax before the ceremony, is decorated with antiques. A professional sound system plays music and when the bride is ready, she makes her entrance by coming down a beautiful staircase. Then, she begins her walk perhaps escorted by her father- down the aisle toward the front of the chapel where her groom waits.
This is not a Las Vegas style chapel. A marriage license from the State of Texas is required and a reserved date and time are necessary ahead of time. Faith-based ministers for couples who do not have their own minister perform all weddings. A judge is also available for non-religious ceremonies.
Beach weddings are held at sunrise or at sunset and are more casual than those that take place in the chapel. Typically, the bride and groom meet with the minister in the chapel parlor before the wedding party walks a couple of blocks to the beach.
Professional photography and video services and a wide range of packages are also available. With 25 years of experience, we mix tradition with the latest in quality equipment. Proper lighting, audio, and composition in artistic balance are the backdrop for magical memories.
The goal of the Wedding Chapel is to provide a traditional wedding ceremony, wedding reception or a beach wedding at an affordable price.
